SPSA is a member of the United States Sailing Association (US Sailing) as well as the Florida Sailing Association. We are a dedicated group of sailors who race throughout the year on Tampa Bay. Founded in 1972, we have a proud history and the following mission: “The St. Petersburg Sailing Association has been formed to encourage participation in the noble art of sailing and to organize such events to further that end.”

Boat ownership is not a requirement. Membership into SPSA provides an opportunity to participate in monthly series races, cruises and social events from September to May. Above all, it brings together people who share a love of sailing, adventure, and friendship. We'd be delighted to welcome you aboard!
